Barbara Bergin, MD, FAAOS, is a 1981-graduate of the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in Lubbock, TX. Her postgraduate training includes her residency in orthopedic surgery served at the University of Missouri Health Care in Columbia, MO, and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in Lubbock, TX. Dr. Bergin attained board certification in orthopedic surgery with the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. Furthermore, she has been elected a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeon. She competes in the western performance horse sport of reining and has been declared the 2014 Limited Non-Pro Champion (Heart of Texas Reining Horse Association), the 2014 Limited Non-Pro Reining Champion (Little Joe Cash), and the 2014 Year End Non-Pro Reining Champion (South Texas Reining Horse Association).
